Regular passenger flight arrivals and departures will be temporarily restricted during the daytime, Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC said.
On August 31, the restrictions will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. During this period, the airport will receive SCO Summit participants and official delegations. On September 1, restrictions on passenger flights will be in place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The airport will not be completely closed. Passenger flights will continue to be handled at night and outside the specified restriction periods.
Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC is coordinating the arrangements with airlines. Carriers have been advised to adjust the schedules of some flights by moving them to available time slots or, if necessary, canceling them.
Passengers planning to travel on August 31 or September 1 are advised to check their flight status directly with their airline in advance and monitor updated schedules. Departure and arrival times may change.
Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC said the temporary restrictions are necessary to ensure security and facilitate the reception of official delegations during the international events. The company apologizes for any inconvenience.
