The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan has issued a weather alert.

According to the ministry, there is a risk of mudflows and floods in mountainous and foothill regions of the country from August 8 to 11 due to expected heavy rainfall.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges residents and visitors to observe safety precautions. Citizens are advised to avoid recreation near riverbeds, mudflow-prone areas, and other potentially dangerous areas until weather conditions improve.
