- Latvia closed its border with Belarus due to technical reasons.
- The closure was announced by Latvian Interior Minister Janis Dombrava on social media.
- Kristine Petersone, a public relations specialist of the Latvian State Border Guard Service, clarified that the closure is related to a malfunction in information systems.
- The causes of the malfunction and when the problem will be resolved are not yet known.
- A day earlier, Janis Dombrava had urged Latvian citizens not to travel to Belarus and those already there to return as soon as possible.

Qeyd edək ki, bundan bir gün əvvəl Yanis Dombrava Latviya vətəndaşlarını Belarusa səfər etməməyə və ya artıq bu ölkədə olanları mümkün qədər tez geri qayıtmağa çağırmışdı.
