The Issyk-Kul Regional Department of Internal Affairs received a report from emergency medical services about a fatal accident at one of the resorts in Bosteri at about 7 p.m. on July 15.

The investigation found that at around 6:45 p.m., a group of four foreign nationals rented jet skis on the lakeshore. While riding about one kilometer from the shore, a 30-year-old foreign national collided with another jet ski operated by his friend.

The man sustained severe injuries and died at the scene, police said.
