The ceremony was attended by the Presidential Affairs Department Chief Kanybek Tumanbaev, who congratulated the graduates and presented them with their completion certificates.

According to the organizers, 100 trainees were enrolled in the two-month retraining program for category CE. A total of 57 participants successfully completed the course.

State driving schools began operating in Kyrgyzstan in 2026 as part of a reform of the driver training system. Authorities said the transition was necessary to improve training quality, eliminate corruption schemes in obtaining driver’s licenses, and strengthen oversight of future drivers’ education.

President Sadyr Japarov previously stated that many private driving schools had effectively issued certificates without providing proper training, prioritizing profit over road safety.
