The highest-ranked educational institution from the country is the American University of Central Asia, placed in the 801–850 band.

In second place is the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, ranked in the 901–950 group. The university improved its position compared to last year, when it was placed in the 1001–1200 range.

The third position is held by Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, ranked in the 1001–1200 group.

The top five also includes the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn (1201–1400) and the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (1401+).

The QS World University Rankings is one of the most influential global university rankings. It evaluates institutions based on academic reputation, the employer appeal of its graduates, research activity, level of internationalization, citation rate of scientific publications, international collaboration, and sustainability indicators.
