According to the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aitegin Emilbekov, an 11th-grade student at Gazprom Kyrgyzstan school, also achieved success. He was awarded an Honorable Mention.

The 10th European Physics Olympiad was held from June 12 to 16, 2026, in Gothenburg, Sweden. A total of 199 schoolchildren from 41 countries participated in the competition, completing theoretical and experimental physics tasks.

The Kyrgyzstan’s team was led by Duishon Satybaldyev. Askar Abdiev’s coaches were Chyntemir Sabyrov and Ulukbek Azhybaev, and Aitegin Emilbekov was trained by Andrey Sidorenko and Turgunbek Omurkanov.

The Ministry of Education and Science congratulated the winners, their mentors, and the team leader on this historic achievement and wished them continued success on the international arena.
