The Bishkek City Prosecutor’s Office conducted an investigation into complaints received during meetings with residents of the capital. The investigation revealed that K.Y.M., an employee of the Sverdlovsky District Municipal Administration of Bishkek, abused his official position for material gain and systematically received funds from an individual entrepreneur for the illegal use of a municipal plot of land. As a result of these illegal actions, funds totaling 195,000 soms were illegally obtained from the individual entrepreneur.

A criminal case has been opened under Articles 337 (abuse of office) and 342 (bribe-taking) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The necessary investigative actions are currently being carried out.
