She noted that the relevant Russian agency regularly verifies information about recipients of products listed in phytosanitary certificates. If inaccurate information is discovered, appropriate notifications are sent.

«In the past two years, Rosselkhoznadzor has frequently been notifying us that phytosanitary certificates list invalid recipients of goods. Products must be inspected at their destination, so the recipient’s address and details must be accurate,» she said.

If violations are detected repeatedly, Rosselkhoznadzor takes stricter measures.

«If a violation is recorded repeatedly, the supplier may be denied phytosanitary certificates for 60 days,» Raila Kabylova explained.

Russian control authorities use an information system that allows them to track all incoming shipments and verify consignee data. If products fail inspection at the destination or incorrect addresses are provided, the information is transmitted to Rosselkhoznadzor and the Kyrgyz side.

Exporters are urged to carefully verify all information and comply with the phytosanitary requirements of importing countries.
