In particular, the draft agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development on providing an investment loan for the financing of the project «Construction of a surface spillway for the Kambar-Ata HPP-2» was considered. The project implementation period is 2026–2029.

«It should be noted that the total design capacity of the Kambar-Ata HPP-2, located on the Naryn River in Toktogul district of Jalal-Abad region, is 360 megawatts. The project is expected to ensure the safe operation of the plant during emergency shutdowns of hydro units and increase electricity generation capacity,» the statement says.

The agreement will enter into force after ratification by the Zhogorku Kenesh in accordance with the established legal procedure and its subsequent signing.

In addition, the meeting addressed issues related to electricity tariffs, fuel and lubricants, utility services, food prices, and inflation. A number of protocol instructions were issued.
