The event began with a red carpet ceremony attended by representatives of the Turkish film industry, Kyrgyz filmmakers, cultural figures, and cinema enthusiasts.

Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov, First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, spoke at the opening ceremony, noting the importance of cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.

Birol Güven, head of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, also delivered a welcoming speech. He emphasized that such cultural projects contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

The Turkish Cinema Days will run until June 7.
