During a special operation conducted by Kyrgyzstan’s Drug Control Service in cooperation with law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, officers detained a previously convicted foreign national T.Kh.K., 62. A total of 51 kilograms of Afghan-origin hashish was seized from the suspect.

According to the investigation, the detainee was the organizer of a criminal network that transported drugs from Tajikistan into Kyrgyzstan before smuggling them onward to Uzbekistan for further distribution.

The Interior Ministry stated that investigative and operational measures are ongoing to identify all members of the criminal scheme, establish drug trafficking routes, and determine other circumstances of the case.
