According to the Foreign Ministry’s press service, the two sides discussed the current state and prospects for developing Kyrgyzstan — Zimbabwe relations in both bilateral and multilateral formats. Specific plans for cooperation for the near future were outlined.

Following the meeting, the foreign ministers agreed to maintain close contacts at various levels to jointly advance these cooperation. In conclusion, Jeenbek Kulubaev invited Amon Murwira to visit Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyzstan has intensified its contacts in Africa since last year. Specifically, on March 18, 2025, it opened its first embassy on the continent in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. In 2026, the head of another African country, Togo, paid a state visit to Bishkek.
