The meeting took place on May 26. During the talks, the two sides discussed a wide range of Kyrgyzstan — China cooperation issues, from politics and economics to cultural and humanitarian ties.

They paid special attention to the schedule of mutual high-level and summit visits, as well as the implementation of the agreements reached following the first meeting of the Strategic Dialogue at the level of the Kyrgyz and Chinese Foreign Ministers.

Jeenbek Kulubaev and Wang Yi exchanged views on current regional and international issues. The discussion focused on improving the global governance system, strengthening multilateral cooperation within the UN, and enhancing the effectiveness of international institutions in the face of modern challenges.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening Kyrgyzstan — China partnership and continuing dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
