Addressing the staff and participants of the event, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that ensuring public safety, law and order is fundamental to the successful development of the state.
«The National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030 sets out ambitious objectives for ensuring sustainable economic growth, improving the well-being of citizens, and industrializing the country. Achieving these strategic goals is impossible without stability, strict adherence to the rule of law, and security in society,» the Cabinet Chairman stated.
He noted that over the past five years, under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov, the country has implemented profound reforms.
Along with significant increases in salaries, pensions, and social benefits, the government is taking systematic measures to modernize the material and technical infrastructure of government agencies. Specifically, during this period, 280 new buildings were constructed for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and approximately 300 more were renovated, creating modern conditions for employee service and public reception.
During his speech, the Cabinet Chairman paid special attention to the progress of the Safe Country project. Currently, approximately 10,000 CCTV cameras are already operational on the streets, in public places, and at tourist sites across the republic. By the end of 2026, as part of the second phase of the project, their number is planned to be increased to 20,000 units.
At the same time, Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that large-scale technical upgrades should be accompanied by increased professionalism and service discipline among personnel.
«Excellent results are achieved only when modern technology is in the hands of professional and principled personnel. Every police officer is obligated to strictly observe the law, ensure justice, and, through their work, strengthen citizens’ trust in state institutions,» the Cabinet Chairman emphasized.
At the end of the ceremony, Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to the law enforcement officers for their loyalty to their oath and dedicated service, wishing them good health, prosperity, and continued success in ensuring peace and stability in Kyrgyzstan.
