The production is presented by the Renaissance Theatre Group in partnership with the Opera and Ballet Theatre. The creators describe the performance as a musical drama, a "cry for the living," and a "song about the unfulfilled."

The story unfolds on a June morning in 1942. At first glance, the silence seems peaceful, but behind every sound lies war, and around every turn of the forest road lies danger. At the center of the story are five female anti-aircraft gunners who don't fit the typical heroine mold. They remain alive, emotional, and in love. Alongside them is their sergeant major, a veteran of the Finnish War who acutely senses their youth.

The heroines could have led ordinary lives—singing, starting families, and raising children—but war comes to their land. In a confrontation where the lives of sixteen German soldiers and five Russian girls are at stake, time becomes especially precious.

The premiere will take place on May 10 at 5:00 PM. Tickets are available at echipta.tj.
