Following the meeting, the two sides signed an executive agreement for a project to supply machinery and equipment to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Under China’s grant assistance program, the ministry will receive 370 units of specialized equipment worth 148.9 million Chinese yuan. The equipment is intended for the Water Resources Service and will be used to carry out mechanized cleaning of irrigation canals.

The machinery will be distributed among seven regional and 40 district water management departments across the country.
