According to the municipality, scheduled maintenance is being carried out to ensure reliable and uninterrupted heat and electricity supply for consumers during the upcoming winter.

The repair campaign covers the plant’s main and auxiliary equipment, as well as its buildings and infrastructure. Officials said the planned works will ensure the technical readiness of the energy equipment to handle peak loads during the heating season.

The maintenance plan includes repairs of boiler units No. 12, 14, and 23, as well as routine maintenance of boiler unit No. 16.

As for turbine equipment, routine repairs are scheduled for five turbine units — No. 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11. In addition, a major overhaul of turbine unit No. 7, which began in 2025 and continued into this year, is set to be completed.

Routine repairs are also planned for power units No. 3 and No. 4, along with maintenance of the plant’s heating equipment.

All repair work is being carried out in accordance with approved deadlines and production plans, the City Hall said.
