The meeting participants highlighted the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership and strengthening of good-neighborly relations with Uzbekistan. This is one of the priority areas of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign policy, the Cabinet Chairman emphasized.

The participants also discussed the active promotion of joint projects and initiatives in trade, economic, investment, energy, cultural, and humanitarian areas between the two countries, the development of interregional cooperation, and the successful implementation of agreements enshrined in the relevant roadmaps.

Furthermore, it was noted that high-level bilateral meetings and important multilateral events involving Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are planned for this year. The Kyrgyz side is actively preparing for the organization and holding of these events, and a number of documents will be signed.

The meeting took place as part of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum. Adylbek Kasymaliev believes it has become a key event in the field of investment cooperation in the region, creating the perfect conditions for establishing contacts between the region’s business community and numerous international partners.
