The main innovation is the digitalization of medical examinations and medical records.

According to the decree, the results of laboratory and functional tests will be generated, transmitted, and stored electronically in state digital healthcare systems.

Furthermore, the results of mandatory medical examinations will be recorded in electronic medical records. These examinations will also be organized and conducted using the Ministry of Health’s digital platforms.

Paper medical certificates issued before September 1, 2026, will remain valid until their expiration date.

The changes apply to workers in the so-called decreed contingent—employees in the food service, trade, education, healthcare, utilities, and other industries for whom regular medical examinations are mandatory.

The resolution will come into force on September 1, 2026.
