According to team coach Amalia Akhtyamova, more than 300 athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan participated in the tournament. For many of Kyrgyzstan’s team members, the competition was one of their first major international competitions.

«Despite the high level of competition, Kyrgyz athletes won several medals in individual and group events,» she emphasized.

In the individual competition among girls born in 2016, Munira Asilbekova won a gold medal with 16.25 points. Kyrgyzstan also took silver, with Safiya Nursultanova taking second place with 15.95 points.

Dayana Baizhanova won bronze in the 2017 category, and Ayilin Kasymalieva won silver among athletes born in 2018.

The team’s main success was their victory in the group exercises among athletes aged 9-11, where Kyrgyzstanis won gold medals.

The team’s coaching staff noted that this achievement is especially significant given the lack of specialized aerobic gymnastics facilities in Kyrgyzstan, including a professional training platform.

Athletes from Kyrgyzstan continue to achieve high results thanks to the work of coaches and training in conditions of limited infrastructure.
