Flights on the Sharjah—Osh—Sharjah route are scheduled to resume on June 22, 2026, while Sharjah—Bishkek—Sharjah flights are expected to restart on July 3, 2026.

According to Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, the resumption of flights will improve Kyrgyzstan’s transport connectivity, strengthen cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, and create additional opportunities for tourists, entrepreneurs, and citizens of both countries.

The parties also discussed prospects for further development of aviation cooperation, including expanding route networks, increasing passenger traffic, and enhancing tourism, business, and economic ties.

Air connections were previously suspended following the outbreak of tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran in March 2026.
