According to it, the Bishkek Electric Networks Enterprise applied to the Internal Affairs Department of Leninsky district on June 6, requesting appropriate measures to be taken against Bishkek Shcheben LLC, Capital Consult Company LLC, and a driver identified as Ymanbek uulu Sadyrbek.

NENK stated that, following the investigation, a decision will be made on whether to open a criminal case. The amount of damage and responsibility for compensation will also be determined. The company promised to release the results of the investigation later.

A special commission established by NENK is also working in parallel to provide its own assessment of the blackout.

The company also noted that the replacement of the Minister of Energy is not related to the incident.

On June 6, Bishkek and several nearby areas were left without electricity. According to NENK, the cause of the large-scale outage was damage to the 110 kV Parkovaya — Ala-Archa transmission line. The company reported that a HOWO truck damaged the power line between poles No. 23 and 24.
