According to presidential press secretary Askat Alagozov, the statement was made after some individuals were recently being mistakenly presented as «public advisors to the president» or «public assistants to the president.»

The administration recalled that in September 2024, Sadyr Japarov, as part of reforms of the presidential administration, relieved all advisors and assistants serving on a voluntary basis of their duties.

At that time, seven public assistants and 19 public advisors lost their positions.

Currently, Changpeng Zhao, founder of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, remains the president’s only remaining public advisor. He advises on digital assets and blockchain technologies.
