Previously, the restrictions applied to the export of cattle, horses, sheep, and goats raised in the country. The changes are aimed at ensuring food security and stabilizing food prices.

The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, the State Customs Service, and the Border Service have been instructed to strengthen measures to prevent the illegal export of farm animals raised in Kyrgyzstan.

The decree will take effect in seven days after its official publication.
